Athletes can now join the Maverick Multisport Age Group Team and be a part of Maverick Multisport’s quickly developing organization. This already encompasses the pro ranks, as well as a Youth & Junior Team of triathletes that is recognized by USA Triathlon as a High Performance Team.
Maverick Multisport points out that the Maverick Multisport Elite team of professional triathletes are responsible for 24 Top 10s, 12 Top 5s, 2 Ironman wins at Lake Placid and Chattanooga in 2014.
In 2015 as an age group member of the organization, athletes can ‘expect to receive substantial support from the organization and our team partners’ including:
- Nutritional products
- Product discounts
- Training apparel
- Race apparel
- Discounts to Elite Team camps
- Invites to special team events planned at 3-4 high profile races in North America in 2015
- Excellent social media and online support
- Opportunity to attend pre-season Elite team camp in January

The organisation is looking for 6 Age Group athletes to help carry the team banner in 2015….
‘We are looking for solid race results, a strong social media presence and a person of strong character. We represent a stable of brands that expect a level of professionalism. That coupled with your association under the Maverick Multisport umbrella with a Youth and Junior squad makes it imperative that our athletes carry themselves well at all times knowing that they represent an entire organization.’
Applications opened on Saturday 1 November 2014 and will close on Sunday 30 November 2014. Final team selections will be announced on Monday 15 December 2014.
