Breast Cancer Awareness month is a great opportunity to educate the public about a disease that impacts so many individuals and families; and to fund cancer research, sufferer and survivor support. This October, major US sporting goods retailer DICK’S Sporting Goods will carry the first ever Breast Cancer Awareness bottle from Polar Bottle.
The bottle features a cool tie-dye spin on the ubiquitous Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon and is inspired by the latest trends in yoga and activewear. Like all Polar Bottle water bottles, it is double wall insulated, ‘Made in the USA’, BPA and Phthalate Free and dishwasher and freezer safe – with a removable cap for thorough cleaning.
Fifty cents from the sale of every bottle will benefit The Breast Cancer Fundraiser, a registered non profit that brightens the lives of Breast Cancer sufferers by paying for services not normally covered by insurance, including wigs and massages.
“As always it has been a pleasure working with DICK’S on this project,” said Polar Bottle Marketing Director, Liza Milijasevic. “Our main goal with this bottle was to create a positive symbol of health and solidarity that people would want to carry with them year round.”
She added, “We also wanted to support a Breast Cancer charity that makes a difference to breast cancer sufferers’ and survivors’ daily lives in a way that is immediately meaningful to our customers. I’m happy to say, I think we’ve succeeded on both counts.”
The limited edition Polar Bottle Breast Cancer Awareness bottle is available from DICK’S Sporting Goods stores beginning 1 October 2014 and online at www.polarbottle.com.
