Compression sportswear specialist SKINS, has announced the newest edition to the team, Eric Law – who will be serving as the brand’s new Florida representative, based out of Tampa.
In his new role, Eric will offer an additional level of support to SKINS’ retailers in Florida, as well as grow the brand’s awareness in the market. Eric previously served in run specialty retail for three years and is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College. He is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida, pursuing a BA in Anthropology.
“I am excited to join SKINS and the timing could not be more perfect for future growth in Florida!” said Law. “It will be great to grow SKINS awareness and spread the awesome product attributes.”
In his spare time, Eric runs ultra-marathons. He began endurance sports with triathlons in 2007 and spent several years competing in local sprints to Ironman 70.3 distances. He is a USA Track & Field certified coach, Boston Marathon qualifier, three-time 100-miler finisher and ‘committed to serving and supporting his local running community in Tampa, Florida’.
“With a passion for the industry and years of run specialty retail experience, we are confident Eric will be an asset to our team and help grow the SKINS market in Florida,” said Robin Barsantee, Sales Director, SKINS North America.
Originally developed in Australia in 1996, the SKINS brand was designed to take on a massive challenge: create a sports garment that improved performance and aided recovery. SKINS invested heavily in research to make this happen and is now ‘Australia’s leading therapeutic compression brand’ and is gaining similar recognition around the world.
Bringing its unique line of performance apparel to the United States in 2007, SKINS continues to make its number one focus research and development – in order to improve, rigorously test and expand its range of products.
