Lifestyle clothing and accessories brand SUNDRiED announced in recent weeks that it was on the search for two triathletes to join the team as brand ambassadors. The campaign was led via Twitter, and entrants were asked to submit a creative post to demonstrate why they were most deserving of the role.
The SUNDRiED team notes that it has been ‘overwhelmed with the response’, welcoming over forty entrants from all around the world. They are pleased to announce that they have whittled these down to a final shortlist of five. These are as follows:
- Cathy Drewbies (?@cathydrewbies)
- Steve Berry (?@Steve_Berry)
- Jon Elliot (@Jonhinio)
- Natalie Thomas (@Natalie_Thomas_)
- Ruth Purbrook (@Rastle50)
The SUNDRiED team was especially impressed with the time and creativity that went into their posts, and is ‘confident that each one of them would make a great SUNDRiED ambassador.’ The final two chosen SUNDRiED ambassadors will each receive t-shirts, hoodies, sunglasses, media coverage, paid branding on race kit as well as a generous discount code for their family and friends.
So what is the next step?
The final selection will be entirely down to a public vote. To select a favourite SUNDRiED ambassador, the wider public can simply check out their entries via Twitter, before filling in a short survey to pick out the preferred athletes.
Entries will be open until Friday 18 July at midday GMT.
‘Sundried is a lifestyle brand that was founded on a beach in Peru, South America.’ Since those early days, Sundried notes that it has evolved into a responsible brand with a clear focus on the outside world, and for people who enjoy being active and healthy.
The Sundried community continues to grow and can be found in its birthplace Peru, New Zealand and the USA. Sundried provides apparel and accessories for individuals who share a love for the outdoors. The company designs and produces sunglasses, t-shirts, shorts as well as various other items.
The Sundried team is passionate about charity work and sponsors Surfers Against Sewage as well as many smaller environmental and social projects. Launching in the UK earlier this year, the brand is keen to reach out to the triathlon, cycling and running communities – and to ‘be their comfortable and stylish lifestyle brand of choice.’
