HEAD Swimming has signed a three year agreement to become the official XTERRA Nordic swim partner. XTERRA Nordic is the new and expanding Nordic edition of the world’s premier off-road triathlon series, with several events scheduled in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Triathlon has become increasingly popular in Scandinavia and this latest sponsorship deal is seen as a big step for HEAD as it strives to make in-roads into the Nordic triathlon market.
“We are excited to partner up with a high quality swim brand like HEAD,” said XTERRA Nordic Race Director Steen Aagaard Walter. “We look forward to the cooperation and to helping HEAD to introduce themselves to the Scandinavian triathlon market.”
“We see big potential in the partnership with XTERRA Nordic,” added Chris Flodén, who is responsible for HEAD Swimming Nordic. “This will be an important step to create brand attention and establish HEAD as a strong player throughout the Nordic region.”
HEAD will be official swim partner for the following races:
- XTERRA Norway, 29 June
- XTERRA Sweden, 13 July
- XTERRA Swimrun (Norway), 23 August
- XTERRA Denmark, 31 August
- XTERRA Aarhus, 14 September
