The Obstacle Course Racing Association (OCRA UK) has announced a partnership with ACTIVE Network to put on the inaugural OCR UK Championship. As the organisation notes, ‘Having ACTIVE on board as our headline sponsor is crucial to enable us to secure everything that would be expected from an event of this stature.’
“We are delighted to support OCRA’s ambition to celebrate OCR in the UK, and encourage the growth of the sport and community,” said Monika Memari, Marketing Manager of ACTIVE Network, EMEA.
“With over 15 years of experience in the endurance industry, our expertise allows us to support race directors by sharing insights and best practices that ensure their success and help develop the OCR industry.”
“ACTIVE Network are the ultimate partner for the OCR UK Championships because they can offer vital logistical and behind-the-scenes support in addition to the essential financial backing to ensure we can deliver a professional national championship for the UK OCR community,” added Phil Harris, Operations Manager of OCRA UK.
ACTIVE Network notes that it ‘provides secure, best-in-class event management and marketing technology.’ The company’s software helps event directors manage registration, payments, fundraising and more. ‘Thousands of endurance organisers partner with ACTIVE to be able to get more participants, manage events better and build lasting relationships.’
