Coinciding with the launch of its very first tri-range for 2015, Wiggle-exclusive brand dhb has a new wetsuit that is designed with durability and high performance in mind. According to Wiggle, the new suit is ‘perfect for entry-level open water swimmers and triathletes.’
Currently priced at an RRP of £85 – and at a reduced price for Wiggle’s Gold and Platinum customers, the new dhb wetsuit is available exclusively via wiggle.co.uk. The suit is positioned to offer ‘both quality and value for money to those beginning to find their way in the world of tri-sports with notable performance and styling cues from a leading manufacturer in the swimwear market.’
Manufactured with Yamamoto Neoprene with a full SCS coating – taking a global standard for high-function wetsuits, the dhb wetsuit is hard-wearing and includes a number of features rarely seen at the ‘entry level’ end of the market. This includes 1.5mm Neoprene under the arm for improved stretch and flexibility in the water and speed cuffs on the ankles to allow for a quick transition.
Wiggle notes that the anatomical design, specifically concentrated on providing buoyancy, reducing drag and retaining heat will enable athletes to swim faster and save energy, and should be ‘perfect for moderate water temperatures.’
