British Triathlon has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced coach development professional to join the award winning organisation.
British Triathlon is the national governing body for triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon in Great Britain. It is responsible for ‘raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.’
As a Coaching Programmes Manager, the successful candidate will be working within the Coach Development Team of British Triathlon. This consists of a small number of specialist staff and consultants engaged in the effective design and development of a nationally and internationally recognised coaching system comprising a coaching qualifications programme and professional development opportunities.
In this context, attention to detail and the ability and desire to produce work of an exceptionally high standard is essential.
The role of the Coaching Programmes Manager is to assist with the creation of a high quality Continuing Professional Development programme for coaches that is innovative and world-leading, supporting new and existing triathlon coaches.
The role will be based at the British Triathlon headquarters located at Loughborough University; however, the nature of the role will require evening and weekend working and occasional travel.
