Running USA’s The Next Evolution forum, set to take place on 28-29 June in Chicago, has added Events.com as presenting sponsor.
“We’re excited to announce Events.com as the presenting partner of The Next Evolution,” says Running USA CEO Rich Harshbarger. “This forum brings together two different segments of the running industry under one roof and we’re pleased Events.com is part of the discussion.”
The Next Evolution presented by Events.com is a first year conference, which takes a look at the growth and influence of non-traditional running events, with conversations and presentations focused on best practices, marketing, safety and more.
Founded in 2013, Events.com is a rapidly growing cloud-based event management platform for event organizers and event goers, to connect in a single place. The sophisticated-yet-simple tools are designed to help event organizers manage, market and monetize their events through a user-first, mobile-first approach.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Running USA for 12 years – they are a cornerstone of the endurance community,” said Mike Reilly, EVP of Business Development and Global Sales at Events.com. “It’s an exciting time for the industry, with the introduction of new technologies, event types and participant categories – and I am thrilled that Events.com is partnering with Running USA in this emerging industry conference.”
As it expands its mobile-focused event management solution, Events.com has made a number of key hires in 2015:
- Last week, Events.com confirmed that former ACTIVE Network executive Steve Mazza had joined the company as Director of Sales
- In January, former Ticketmaster exec James Revell joined the company as Vice President of Global Marketing
- And, in late December, Events.com confirmed that former ACTIVE exec and the ‘Voice of Ironman’Mike Reilly had joined the company as Executive Vice President of Global Sales.
Events.com’s bundle provides actionable insights & analytics that enable event organizers to track, analyze, and visualize performance metrics in order to better manage and monetize event lifecycles. Rapid payment integration affords event organizers the ability to get paid quickly and seamlessly.
