TriggerPoint Performance, a division of the Implus Corporation and a leading performance therapy firm, has announced a joint partnership with PEAR Sports to enhance workouts and recovery.
PEAR Sports is a leader in fitness training based on ‘real-time audio coaching from world-class coaches and on-demand audio stats calibrated on an individual’s response to workouts.’ With the new PEAR 2.0 App and system, personalized training and TriggerPoint injury prevention techniques are made available to anyone, anywhere.
Through the PEAR 2.0 and TriggerPoint collaboration, called the ‘TriggerPoint Channel’, TriggerPoint is featured in 10 workouts that educate consumers about injury prevention and ways to increase mobility. This channel also provides a short description of recovery exercises, when to perform the exercises (pre or post workout), and follow-along audio and additional follow-along video.
“Over the past year, the original PEAR app has undergone an extensive transformation, incorporating user feedback, expert knowledge and industry trends,” said Bob Allison, Co-Founder of PEAR Sports. “PEAR 2.0’s game-changing technology aims to help both people who are just beginning their fitness journeys and athletes already in shape, maximizing their potential and helping them to reach their highest goals.”
“In an effort to continually stay ahead of trends and technology, our partnership with PEAR Sports is yet another example of our commitment to streamline the distribution of education for our consumers by providing simple instructions for anyone who desires to simply move better,” added Marco Garsed, Senior Director of Marketing for TriggerPoint.
This partnership comes on the heels of the launch of TriggerPoint’s online platform and is seen as a direct example of the company’s aim to ‘continually develop different means of education to better inform consumers about injury prevention and proper recovery to stay healthy throughout training.’
