HITS has announced that it has recently aligned with Landice, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines. Landice will join HITS Endurance as its Official Treadmill Sponsor and will partner with the national race series to give away a Landice L7 Cardio Treadmill, valued at over US$4,000, to one lucky HITS Triathlon Series or HITS Running Festivals competitor.
“Landice is proud to be a partner in support of the HITS Endurance Series,” said Dave Rainis, Vice President and Owner of Landice.
“Both Landice and HITS are committed to making quality fitness available for participants of all levels. HITS has proven its ability to run world-class athletic events that are accessible and fun, and we are delighted to be part of this series that attracts seasoned and first-time athletes.”
Since 1967, Landice has been engineering, assembling and testing specialty fitness equipment – and it is now one of the only manufacturers to do so in the USA.
The company adds that every Landice product is built to commercial-grade standards and crafted to withstand the most demanding workout environments. While Landice is made for the needs of residential use, its training equipment is also used by commercial gyms, physical therapy and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, police and fire departments, colleges and universities, professional sports teams, and the United States Armed Forces.
In addition to exclusive product discounts, Landice will offer all 2016 registered HITS athletes the chance to win a Landice L7 Cardio Treadmill, which is sold in stores for US$4,395. From this date on, when any athlete registers for any race on the remaining 2015 and 2016 HITS Endurance race calendar, they will automatically be entered to win the coveted grand prize.
“Landice is a global fitness brand and giving HITS Endurance athletes the opportunity to win one of their iconic products, is extraordinary,” said HITS Endurance President and CEO Tom Struzzieri. “It’s an honour to call a business that truly values health, wellness and exercise our partner and we look forward to our athletes enjoying the benefits of this relationship.”
The HITS Endurance race calendar continues on 20 September with the Omaha Marathon in Omaha, Nebraska. Thousands of athletes will take to the streets of Omaha for a flat, fast course featuring the city’s sites. Registration for the Omaha Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Friends & Family mile is open through race day.
In 2013, HITS unveiled its umbrella company, HITS Endurance, which will organize all HITS Triathlon Series, as well as HITS Running Festivals. HITS Inc is a special events management company primarily focused on producing endurance sports events and hunter/jumper horse shows. Based in upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, HITS is dedicated to creating ‘high-quality events in desirable destinations with unmatched, professional operations’.
