Marc Pro, the creator of an electronic muscle conditioning device that aims to improve and facilitate muscle performance, has formalized a partnership with Olympic triathlete, Matt Reed. Having tested the device over the last few months, Reed has selected Marc Pro and the new Marc Pro Plus as his exclusive devices for muscle recovery and pain relief.
Throughout his professional triathlon career, Reed has excelled across many triathlon distances including the Olympic distance and Ironman 70.3. He was named USA Triathlon’s Athlete of the Year in 2008, and holds titles of National Champion, Olympian, and highest place US finisher at the World Triathlon Championships for an American male.
Marc Pro utilizes 30 years of medical device experience and research and has worked with some of the world’s leading pro sports teams to develop its easy-to- use device. The company notes that all product claims are based on technology that has been tested through blinded, controlled research.
The Marc Pro is intended for muscle conditioning by stimulating muscle in order to improve or facilitate muscle performance. The Marc Pro Plus is also used for temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles in the shoulder, waist, back, neck, upper extremities (arm), and lower extremities (leg) due to strain from exercise and normal household and work activities.
Unlike muscle-building or pain-masking devices, Marc Pro utilizes a unique and proprietary waveform that activates muscle fibres in a way that ‘does not fatigue the muscle while it conditions it for optimal recovery.’ Reed joins over 100 professional teams and athletes that are already using Marc Pro and Marc Pro Plus to obtain recovery and conditioning benefits, and also address pain.
A father of three, Reed lives and trains in Encinitas, California, which allows him to take advantage of ideal training conditions year-round. Reed is turning to Marc Pro to enhance active recovery after tough workouts, during travel and to address nagging pains.
Matt Reed said, “I train hard and train a lot. Marc Pro allows me to stick to my training plan and get the most out of myself every day.”
“We are excited to partner with Matt and support his goals for 2015,” added Ryan Heaney, President of Marc Pro. “Alongside being an incredibly talented athlete who understands the importance of active recovery to perform better, Matt has been very helpful in providing specific feedback and will certainly be an asset to our team as we continue to innovate with our products.”
Marc Pro and Marc Pro Plus are available online at marcpro.com. Monthly payment plans are available for both devices, with pricing starting at US$54 per month.
