Sun Multisport Events, producers of the annual TRI-MANIA Summit and Expo series, has selected Race IT, ‘one of the most stable and successful systems in the registration industry’ and the registration platform of choice for more than 30,000 events, as its official registration partner for the 2015 TRI-MANIA series. Race IT will enable athletes attending TRI-MANIA to register for more than 30 clinics, workshops and competitions.
TRI-MANIA is the kick-off to the new triathlon season for more than 4,500 athletes in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, offering educational seminars, training clinics, competitive events, a vendor expo and more.
TRI-MANIA will be produced in Washington DC at American University’s Bender Arena on 21 March with the ‘Voice of Ironman’, Mike Reilly, as keynote speaker. TRI-MANIA Boston takes place at MIT’s Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center on 28 March with 3x XTERRA and 70.3 IRONMAN World Champion Julie Dibens as keynote speaker.
TRI-MANIA clinics and workshops are led by top coaches, professional triathletes and renowned experts, including 4x Olympian Sheila Taormina, sports nutrition coach to the world’s top pros Brian Shea, IRONMAN World Champion and USAT Hall of Fame inductee Karen Smyers, professional triathletes Laurel and Rebeccah Wassner, 2x ITU World Champion and author Ken Mierke, ChiRunning Certified Master Instructor Vince Vaccaro and others.
Each TRI-MANIA event also features pool-based swimming competitions, an indoor bike time trial utilizing CompuTrainers and outdoor running events that begin the day.
