Reynolds Cycling ATR wheels share honour at NAHBS

The 2015 North American Handmade Bicycle Show set the stage for the complete bike debut of the Reynolds Cycling ATR wheelset.

The disc brake specific, tubeless carbon fiber all terrain road wheels were featured on the No. 22 Bicycle Company’s Broken Arrow, which the judges declared this year’s winner of the Best CX Bike award.

“Thanks to Reynolds for the wheels that were the perfect complement to the award-winning Broken Arrow build. The recognition is a huge step forward for us, a validation from our peers and those we look up to. The experience has been invaluable,” said Bryce Gracey of No. 22 Bicycle Company.

“The inspiration for the bike was to make a race ready CX bike that embraces the contemporary advances of the discipline’s components, namely SRAM’s 1x drive train and thru axle technology, coupled with hydraulic disc brakes and wheels.”

The Broken Arrow’s titanium construction and modern disc brake adaptation, paired with Reynolds’ sleek carbon ATR wheels, represent an ‘ideal combination of materials’ for a bike that is ‘as responsive and light as it is comfortable’ for multi-hour all terrain road rides.

Reynolds Cycling engineers and manufactures premium carbon composite and alloy bicycle wheels sold in more than 48 countries worldwide. Reynolds notes that it has an unwavering dedication to innovation and quality, housing a state-of-the-art engineering and testing studio, sourcing only the highest-quality materials, and maintaining ownership of a dedicated manufacturing facility.

A pioneer in composite design, Reynolds brought the first all-carbon fork to market. Two decades later, Reynolds Cycling remains committed to making the ‘best, lightest and fastest wheels available, proven both in the lab and under the saddles of the world’s top cyclists and triathletes’.
