Milestone Sports has launched an app upgrade for the MilestonePod to provide a more in-depth look at the health and performance of every runner and walker. With the upgraded app, users are able to track workouts using a combination of metrics that have ‘never been seen before in a consumer fitness device’. The MilestonePod and app also work together to generate customized graphs to display the performance metrics of each workout.
“For the first time, runners and walkers can receive detailed feedback and information about their personal running style that can help them make changes to not only meet their goals but to also mitigate preventable injury and pain,” said Jason Kaplan, CEO of Milestone Sports.

MilestonePod is a lightweight, durable device worn on the shoe that provides runners with detailed activity data as well as insights on their performance and how to improve it. Users wirelessly sync their Pod to the app on a Bluetooth-enabled device to view detailed workout data. Setting itself apart from all other fitness wearables on the market, this device is specifically focused on the running and walking activity. It is laced through the user’s running or walking shoes to provide data not available from GPS watches or mobile apps and to automatically track the miles on that pair of shoes.
