The second entry phase for the 2016 Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris begins at 08:00 CET on Tuesday 8 September via A.S.O. Challenges site: asochallenges.com.
The 40th edition of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris will get under way on 3 April 2016 on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées. 22,000 runners confirmed their participation in next year’s race during the first entry phase from 14 April – 17 May. Of these:
- 32% are first time marathon participants
- 26% ran in the 2015 edition
- 27% are female
The organizers, A.S.O., note that it is worth remembering that a record 41,342 runners – representing 150 countries – participated last 12 April (out of a total 54,000 event entries in 2015) in ‘the most popular race on the French sporting calendar.’
