Former European Champion track cyclist and sports nutrition expert, Tim Lawson (an original founder of nutrition brand Science in Sport (SiS)) is a pretty familiar name in the cycling industry. With over 20 years’ experience of working with athletes, from complete beginners to Olympic medallists and Pro Tour winners, Tim is well-positioned to know what an athlete wants, and indeed needs.
Having unveiled the Secret Training personal care product range last year, Tim Lawson has turned his attention to endurance sport nutrition with the Secret Training STEALTH Nutrition range.
The STEALTH range consists of ‘advanced isotonic gels, super hydration energy drinks, caffeine and betaine gels, real fruit energy gels, protein gels and recovery powders, with a whole host of other products also in the pipeline.’
The company notes that every ingredient has been carefully thought out, tried and tested; from the multiple transportable carbohydrates and avoidance of artificial sweeteners in the isotonic range, to the easy digestibility of the caffeine and betaine gel.
And much of the development process has also been carried out with one of the best cycling teams in the world, Tinkoff Saxo, whose feedback has been instrumental in enabling the Secret Training team get the products to where they are today. Currently racing in the Tour De France, Tinkoff Saxo are enjoying use of the full range, having used it to great effect in the Giro D’Italia back in May.
Tim is delighted with his new STEALTH range, and said, “In a sports nutrition industry jam-packed full of brands promising the very best in taste and performance, we are bringing something innovative and new to the mix.”
He continued, “Made for athletes, by athletes, we have developed a product range that both tastes good and works with your body, when you need it most. Produced in our own drug free factory and under extensive drug screening, elite and amateur athletes alike can use our products with the utmost confidence.”
Secret Training recently joined forces with cycling distributor Madison, who are set to help increase the brand’s UK presence, and enable Tim to concentrate on the continued development of the product range.
Tim finished by saying, “We look forward to further developing the range with feedback from our customers and partner teams, and have lots of exciting developments still to come. Feedback about the STEALTH product range has been great so far, we are delighted with what we have achieved and know that we are onto something good.”
The new STEALTH nutrition range is available to purchase on the Secret Training website as well as selected retailers.
