XTERRA Boards, a leading brand of inflatable stand up paddleboards, has announced a five-year sponsorship agreement with IRONMAN. Under the agreement, XTERRA Boards will be the Official Stand Up Paddleboard for all North American IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events, including the IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.
Race officials and lifeguards will utilize the boards to lead and monitor the open-water swim portion of the course.
(This latest deal also follows how on the heels of a partnership between XTERRA Boards and iconic west coast event the Wildflower Triathlons.)

XTERRA Boards offer an overall workout and can be used for athletic cross-training and as a fun, family activity on the water. Endurance athletes increasingly use paddleboarding to supplement training and as a recovery exercise.
