UK wetsuit and apparel specialist Zone3 has announced that it will be the official swim sponsor for Tri Liverpool, which will play host to the British Triathlon Championships on the 26 July.
Set in the Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool, the event will see up to 2000 participants of all ages and abilities compete alongside some of the finest athletes in the UK and beyond. The event will give athletes the chance to encounter many of the city’s historic sites as they swim in the Queens and Wapping Docks, bike past The Royal Liver Building and run through Liverpool’s docks with the finish line outside the Echo Arena.
The partnership will see Zone3 providing wetsuit hire for all competitors before the event as well as showcasing the company’s award-winning range throughout race day with special offers on the Zone3 stand.
On the announcement Zone3 Brand Manager, Bobby Buck, said “As a British brand, which has grown from a small start-up to one of the leading tri brands in the world, it feels like the perfect partnership to be sponsoring the British Championships as we continue to stick to our principle of supporting the grass roots of the sport. It’s a fantastic event and one that we are really excited to be supporting.”
