Challenge Denmark motors ahead with Skoda Ejby

Skoda Ejby in Denmark has become the official car sponsor of Challenge Denmark

Skoda Ejby in Denmark has become the official car sponsor of Challenge Denmark with an agreement that puts Skoda vehicles at Challenge Denmark’s disposal before and during events. In addition, Skoda Ejby will be on display at both of Challenge Denmark’s events in Billund-Herning on 12 June and in Fredericia on 6 August.

“We are very pleased to have Skoda Ejby as our official car sponsor because Skoda stands for high quality,” said Challenge Denmark Event Director Claus Vesterby. “They are deeply involved in the cycling world and have a profile, which matches us perfectly. This co-operation ensures our employees a safe and stable transportation to conferences, sponsor meetings and events”

Hans Hindsgaul Madsen from Skoda Ejby added, “Since we are already active in both the triathlon world through our co-operation with Michelle Vesterby and Speedway with Peter Kildemand, combined with the fact that Skoda is the primary sponsor for the Tour de France – this partnership is right up our street.”

RaceMakers – the team behind Challenge Nordic events in Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway– is aiming to strengthen and ensure the future of Challenge Denmark, and at the same time increase the number of international competitions in its portfolio. RaceMakers was founded by the Event Director of Challenge Denmark, Claus Vesterby, and the owner of online multisport retailer triudstyr.dk, Jacob Sonne-Schmidt.

RaceMakers is based in the Danish city of Herning on the Jutland peninsula. It is responsible for the daily operation of Challenge Nordic events, and ‘a number of other triathlon related activities.’ RaceMakers adds that one of the most significant parts of the new company will be selling race supplies and merchandise to other Challenge Family events around Europe.
