The 179 kilometre Rutland–Melton Cicle Classic is a premier one day international race on the British road racing calendar, attracting a number of top professional teams from home and abroad. The tough and thrilling race has a unique course with a blend of wide roads and treacherous farm tracks, a mix familiar to those who follow the Classics of northern France and Belgium.
Airing on mainstream TV sation Channel 4 this Saturday 7 May at 06:35 GMT and Ch4+1 at 07:35, the Rutland–Melton Cicle Classic show is presented by Kait Borsay with commentary by Hugh Porter and Dean Downing.
