Eventbrite, ‘the world’s largest ticketing and event technology platform’, which powers 2 million events around the globe each year, has announced a new product integration with JustGiving, ‘the world’s social platform for giving’.
Event organisers using Eventbrite and JustGiving can now ‘allow their fundraisers to begin raising money for their cause with a single click’. With this new integration, anyone buying a ticket for a charity event on Eventbrite can now set up their own JustGiving fundraising page as part of the same registration process, requiring as little effort as a single additional click.
According to both companies, this makes setting up a fundraising page much easier and more seamless for participants, which supports charities in getting their participants fundraising quicker with less administrative burden. Charities can also set how every fundraising page will look and therefore make it as easy as possible for registrants to raise money for a cause quickly and effectively.
Eventbrite was founded 10 years ago to make professional ticketing accessible to organisers of events of all types and sizes, and processed over 100 million tickets in 180 countries in 2015.
Reflecting on the partnership, Eventbrite’s General Manager in the UK and Ireland, Joel Crouch, said “We’re delighted to be working with the team at JustGiving and are pleased to announce this fundraising integration with Eventbrite’s technology platform. We’re looking forward to helping organisers make the most of our platform, and making it even easier for fundraisers to boost the money donated to good causes.”
“This integration with Eventbrite combines JustGiving’s dedication to using the power of technology for good with helping charities reach more people to raise even more,” said Jamie Parkins, Senior Product Manager at JustGiving. “We’re delighted to launch this to the events marketplace.”
