New for 2016, the SRAM RED mechanical groupset – billed as ‘the world’s lightest groupset – has a complete graphics rework ‘inspired by and designed to complement the sophisticated look of SRAM’s new wireless SRAM RED eTap groupset.’
SRAM adds that the new graphics feature overlapping textures and design elements in a complementary matte and gloss black finish. Additional changes include a more subtle logo placement, layering, tone on tone texture differences and a refined RED logo.
According to the company, ‘the result is a more mature, confident visual language for the SRAM RED groupsets.’
The new SRAM RED will have retail availability from March 2016, with power meter availability now.
