A partnership has been formed between Buzz Events and Co, the ownes and operator of the Run National Running Film Festival (RNRFF) and Informa Australia, the owner and operator of the ATEC Show. This will co-locate the Sydney RNRFF screening with the ATEC show next year.

The third edition of the Australian Triathlon, Endurance & Cycling (ATEC) show will take place at the Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney’s Moore Park Precinct on 9-10 September 2017. ATEC is billed as Australia’s premier event celebrating the endurance lifestyle.

The ATEC Endurance Cinema presented by Run Nation Running Film Festival, will feature 110 minutes of curated content dedicated to ‘the most inspirational running films from around the world’. The curated content focuses on the human interest side and running. The screening will take place on the evening of Saturday 9 September2017 at the Hoyts, Entertainment Quarter in Sydney. This is conveniently located across from the Royal Hall of Industries where ATEC will take place over the weekend of the 9-10 September.

ATEC attracts thousands of cyclists, runners, swimmers, triathletes and endurance sports enthusiasts to interact with the latest product innovations from leading brands; learn from industry influencers and inspiring athletes, and take part in the many interactive and entertainment opportunities of the show.

“The partnership with Run Nation Running Film Festival is one that will strengthen our position with the endurance culture as well as providing value to visitors of both ATEC show and the endurance cinema,” said Vanessa Maniatis, ATEC Exhibition Director.

“There are strong synergies across our respective audiences and we are thrilled to incorporate the Sydney screening of Run Nation Running Film Festival as part of the ATEC program in 2017.”

The Run Nation Running Film Festival was launched in 2015 and is billed as the only film festival in Australia dedicated to showing the most inspirational running films from around the world. In 2016, Run Nation screened in seven venues across Australia and connected with over 4000 audience members. The 2017 event will see two Sydney screenings take place, the premier event to launch the film festival will take place on 22 June 2017 in Sydney, as well as expanding the number of screenings across Australia.

Keith Hong, Founder and Co-Creative Director at RNRFF said “I am excited about this partnership with ATEC. It further strengthens our cause in bringing inspirational (running) stories to the masses, as well as adding a lot more value to their Run Nation Running Film Festival experience. Partnering with ATEC was a no-brainer.”

ATEC is offering all Run Nation Running Film Festival ticket holders free entry into its show. A code will be distributed to ticket holders that will allow them to claim their free ticket. This offer is valid to Run Nation Running Film Festival ticket holders across every Australian state.

Both ATEC and Run Nation Running Film Festival have partnered with Can Too as their official charity. Through both of these events, Can Too will have the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

More than 120 exhibitors from the participation and endurance sports industry are expected to showcase the latest products and innovations across eight dedicated zones at ATEC. ATEC operating hours are 09:00-17:00 AET on Saturday 9 September, and 10:00-16:00 on Sunday 10 September 2017.
