Fitness food brand Fit HQ is working with Human Race Events to provide the thousands of amateur athletes who take part in the company’s mass participation events with ‘stress-free fresh, healthy and nutritious food.’
The new partnership will allow those taking part in any triathlon, sportive, run or swim in the Human Race portfolio to ‘get the ideal pre and post event food’.
Fit HQ was created to help improve the performance of those participating in sport, by creating ‘flavoursome and nutritionally aligned meals for those who don’t always have the time in their busy schedule to prepare them’.
The Fit HQ website offers a range of carefully created meal options to order online, which can be delivered in time for any Human Race event. The team at Fit HQ supply professional athletes such as Alex Lewington and Guy Learmonth, along with thousands of amateurs who want to improve their level of performance.
Nick Rusling, CEO of Human Race, said “When it comes to sport we know our participants demand the best. They take care choosing the finest trainers, bikes and wetsuits, so it makes sense that they would choose a quality meal to improve their performance too. We’re working with Fit HQ as we feel they offer something that will genuinely improve the performance of our participants, and having tasted some of the meals myself I can also vouch for their flavour.”
As well as offering a convenient delivery service, Fit HQ also plans to attend a number of Human Race events, starting with the Trick or Treat Run, on Sunday 30 October.
