HydraPak – the ‘creator of innovative hydration solutions for performance-driven people’ – has partnered with Katadyn, the Swiss specialist in water filtration and purification, to launch the BeFree water filtration system.
Positioned as being perfect for backcountry and urban travel, the BeFree is an ultra-light 0.6L, integrated microfilter and flexible soft flask. Billed as a first of its kind in the market, the BeFree EZ-Clean Filter Membrane allows users to ‘clean the filter anytime, anywhere with just a simple swish or shake’.

The BeFree filter offers ‘effortless drinking without sucking’ due to its Free Flowing Channel filter technology. As the smallest packable filter in the Katadyn line-up (58g), the BeFree packs down to fit in the user’s pocket.
Renowned for its expertise in manufacturing with TPU, HydraPak produces a broad range of purpose-built flexible bottles, soft flasks and reservoirs. The BeFree is currently available in outdoor specialty stores and is compatible with all HydraPak products with a 42mm opening.
