ITU has announced the debut of the 2017 Event Organisers Conference. The weekend-long conference is themed ‘Triathlon events for the next generation of athletes’, and it is aimed at any triathlon and multisport organizing committee, not only ITU event organisers, who are looking to enhance their event.
The conference, which will be organised in conjunction with the Hungarian Triathlon Federation, will take place over the course of three days from 24-26 February 2017 in Budapest, Hungary, at the city’s Novotel Hotel.
The program will include a series of keynote presentations, workshops and breakout sessions concentrated on the development and advancement of triathlon and multisport races. This will include sessions on event marketing, sustainability, improving the athlete experience, race planning and more.
