‘On My Own Way’ is the name of an audiovisual project about pro triathlete Ivan Raña, filmed and produced by Gines Diaz and Adrian Rodd.
In this series of short films, Ivan Raña shares his everyday experiences, feelings and reactions. The video project charts Raña’s training sessions and routines and offers viewers a glimpse of the daily life of the Spanish athlete and what keeps him going, day in day out.
The series of videos is made up of different events and races throughout the season, including training sessions and races filmed in Lanzarote, Brazil, Madrid and others, finishing with the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona (Hawaii, USA).
‘Libre’ (‘Free’), the first video of the series, shows Raña’s day-to-day training and ‘explores his deepest thoughts’.
