Pedalcover Insurance has announced a two-year partnership with the Castle Triathlon Series. The sponsorship agreement will see Pedalcover Insurance becoming the ‘Official Insurance Partner’ offering advice and product support to the 16,000 competitors expected this year.
The Castle Triathlon Series host six-weekend events across the season, including three UK castles, one Irish Castle (May Bank Holiday) and one at Chateau de Chantilly in France (August Bank Holiday). The events attract triathletes from all levels, from 8 years to 80 years, first timers to elites, with eight race distances on offer at every weekend event.
Aimed specifically at triathletes and cyclists, Pedalcover Insurance was launched in 2014 by triathlete and insurance entrepreneur Darren Thomas combining years of industry experience and insight into the sport. Backed by one of the UK’s largest insurance providers and GB triathlete and Olympian Vicky Holland, Pedalcover’s home insurance policy provides cover to bikes, kit and accessories when training or competing at home or abroad.
Pedalcover Insurance ambassador and professional triathlete, Catherine Jameson, is also a regular competitor and winner of the Castle Triathlon Series Olympic distance races. Castle Triathlon Series competitors will be offered an exclusive discount with Pedalcover.
