Cycle apparel and accessories specialist Altura has announced the launch of its brand new website, adding its new Performance Road Series and Altura Dirt Division collection.
According to Altura, ‘the new website is fully responsive and optimised for use on both desktop and mobile devices. Fresh, intuitive displays allow users to easily explore product ranges, news stories and inspirational images, perfect for café stop scrolling. The seamless integration of social media channels, new technology and ambassador updates combine to make the new site the hub for all things Altura.’
A key feature of the new Road website is the increased visibility of proprietary technology, such as Altura Dry technology, in each of Altura’s garments. Using the Technology Key, garment properties, garment functionality and new items are easily identifiable, allowing users to select the optimal products for every ride.
Altura adds that its partnership with ONE Pro Cycling allows the company to ‘deliver lightweight garments with engineered performance and exceptional comfort’.
The Podium Elite Short Sleeve Jersey is an ‘aggressively designed, fitted jersey featuring Coldblack and Altura Draft Venting technology to keep the rider cooler and drier’. The Podium Elite Bib Short aims to ‘deliver elite ride performance through the new ergonomic Altura Pro 3D pad with full carving conch construction and breathable perforations’.
The key technology update for the 2016 Dirt Division collection is the introduction of Altura Snap Technology. All Dirt Division shorts feature matching low profile snappers, allowing cyclists to customise their ride short with one of four compatible inners. Cyclists can wear the optimal short/inner combination on every ride as Altura Snap Technology allows them to choose their style, features, fit, comfort and protection ‘to keep them performing at their best, no matter where the ride takes them’.
The new Attack Three\60 Shield Short offers comfort and protection through Altura Shield fabrics and Cordura seat panels. Utilising Altura Snap technology, they are designed to be paired with one of four performance engineered inners, such as the Protector Progel Waist Short with Altura Ergofit 3D patterning and molded EVA hip protection zones for ‘those unwelcome crash days’. When worn with the lightweight Phantom Long Sleeve Jersey, with Altura Dry technology to move moisture away from the skin, ‘riders will be ready to carve up any trail’.
Endura continues to point out that the collection ‘also includes garments that are perfect for both on and off the bike. The Alpine Long Sleeve Tee is a raglan cut long sleeve tee and one of a handful of new graphic tops designed to show allegiance to the mountain.’
