The Tour de Beauce, in its 31st edition this year, has announced that key sponsors Hydro Québec, Desjardins, Procycle, Georgesville and the governments of Québec and Canada will support the event once again this year, playing a key role in its continued success.
Official suppliers include Thule, iClic, Champion System, Pepsi Alex Coulombe, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, IGA Familles Rodrigue et Groleau, Beauce Auto Ford Lincoln, and SRAM, allowing organisers to ‘maintain the excellent event that the Tour de Beauce has become’. This year, Cogeco Connexion joins the list as an official Internet services supplier.
Media partners include Le Soleil, Look Media, EnBeauce.com, 103.5 COOL FM and MIX 99.7.
Organisers are grateful to all municipalities along the route, the Sûreté du Québec, the Québec municipal police and the Ministry of Transport of Québec, stating that ‘without them the event would not be possible’.
Tour de Beauce President, Mme Catherine Leblanc, is proud of the continued support the organization enjoys. She said “I want to send a sincere thank you to each of these partners that allow the Tour de Beauce to continue growing, and I would also like to acknowledge the contribution of the many businesses that support the event as Friends of the Tour Beauce. The same can be said of all the volunteers who offer their time and services of incalculable importance.”
Beauce Art, the International Sculpture Festival, has chosen to pay homage to the history of the Tour de Beauce this year, with the unveiling of a monumental sculpture on 17 June. It is hoped the piece will become a symbol of the importance of the event for the region.
