blueseventy has announced an exclusive partnership with TriSwim, a start-up company based across three lake venues in Kent, England, run by Laura Ansell.
TriSwim is dedicated to the promotion of open water swimming for all ages of swimmer. blueseventy will be the exclusive provider of wetsuits and accessories at the three open water venues in the South East of England.
Swimmers will have the opportunity to try out wetsuits and gain expert fitting and advice. TriSwim will carry a selected range available for purchase exclusively at the venues below and through the TriSwim events programme this summer.
The Kent and the South East region boasts an impressive selection of open-water venues, and TriSwim has already secured exclusive rights for open water training in the following three locations:
- Hever Castle (Hever, Kent): an impressive 3.2K and 1.5K swimming loop, billed as a perfect training location for seasoned triathletes
- Honnington Farm, Soutborough (Tunbridge Wells): an intimate privately owned lake, ideal for first-timers, juniors and for shorter distance swims
- Haysden Lake (Tonbridge, Kent): a shared location with a boating club, with a 1000m open water swim loop and 5K trail run, already partnered with 7Oaks Triathlon club for weekly swim sessions
TriSwim is set to host a launch event on Saturday 30 April at Honnington Farm, but will open sooner, with the first swimming opportunities from 3 April.
Laura Ansell, who is a former GB junior international swimmer and a co-host of the successful Twitter feed, @UKSwimChat, said “I hope that people will come to us because they want to improve their swimming technique and race faster, and I know how important it is to get the right fit and product advice when venturing into open water.”
