This year, CamelBak notes that its athletes will… ‘run thousands of miles, descend hundreds of mountains by bike and rip epic-sized ski jumps with more confidence, knowing CamelBak has their ‘Bak’.’ CamelBak’s diverse roster of world class athletes will represent the leading hydration accessories brand in competitions around the globe including the famed, Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour (FMB) and the Crankworx series, among others.
“We’ve seen the power of hydration in impacting performance,” said Kim Rogers, International Marketing Manager for CamelBak. “This year’s roster brings together athletes from a range of disciplines, all representing the power of hydration in some of the world’s most gruelling and exhilarating competitions.”
2015 Crankworx World Tour Downhill Champion, Sam Blenkinsop has signed with CamelBak as a new addition to the MTB roster. CamelBak will be with Blenkinsop every step of the way as he takes on the full Enduro World Series this year. The riders of Team Polygon UR – one of the most dynamic teams on the MTB circuit – will be back on the CamelBak 2017 roster. Kenta Gallagher, a top privateer on the 2016 Enduro World Series, has joined Team Polygon UR alongside other top riders such as British freestyle rider Sam Reynolds and 2016 Crankworx Overall Downhill winner, Tracey Hannah.
The Santa Cruz x SRAM team continues to be a powerhouse on CamelBak’s roster with latest team addition Josh Lewis joining veterans Iago Garay and Mark Scott. Whistler Bike Park favourite, Remy Metailler and Enduro World Series star, Raewyn Morrison will also continue to be key riders on the CamelBak roster.
“CamelBak has always been my hydration pack of choice – even before I joined the 2017 roster,” said Sam Blenkinsop. “Beyond hydration, I am also very excited to join in CamelBak’s effort to eliminate single use water bottles. This is a mission I believe in personally, so it is one I am proud to represent as part of the CamelBak team.”
