Cylance Pro Cycling welcomes KitBrix as equipment provider

Cyclance Pro Cycling rider

British accessories brand, KitBrix, will support riders and staff at Cylance Pro Cycling for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Cylance Pro Cycling is comprised of some of the best cyclists in the world, and represents athletes from 13 different countries. Cylance Pro Cycling is both a top women’s World Tour team competing globally with riders such as British Olympic champion Dani King and 2016 Ride London winner Kirsten Wild, and one of the strongest men’s programs in North America.

A Cylance spokesperson said “Cylance Pro Cycling is proud to partner with KitBrix. It is important for the team to align with innovative companies that believe in building brand reputation through high quality products and world calibre athletes. KitBrix will enable the riders to prepare for and perform at the world’s biggest cycling events.”

KitBrix is a modular bag system made from military grade materials. KitBrix delivered the first set of kit during a low-key presentation to the Women’s Team during Ride London and the company looks forward to supporting the men’s team during the Tour of Britain in September.

The range of KitBrix bags will help the riders streamline their kit organisation in all race and training scenarios from race day packing to everything in between. Constructed from tarpaulin, the bags are designed to resist damage from wind and rain, ensuring the riders’ race equipment stays dry and is ready to use in the most challenging situations. The bags originated from the founder’s military experience as well as exposure to kit organisation within leading professional cycle teams.

Founder of KitBrix, Robert Aldous explained, “We will continue to support UK based teams as we progress but the opportunity to extend our reach with Cylance Pro Cycling was an opportunity for KitBrix to gain visibility as a brand in the Europe and USA, as well as support a women’s team in the World Tour, which has always been an ambition of the company.

“I am looking forward to meeting the entire team and it was a pleasure to meet the women’s team during Ride London in an unofficial capacity. This understated approach is always preferred as it allows us to really get to know the riders and understand what they need.”

A release from KitBrix added that it will ‘support Cylance Pro Cycling riders and staff during the 2017 and 2018 season with a range of race day products and dry bags that will ensure their time is focused on performing to their maximum.’
