Revolve24, the 24-hour cycling endurance event at the UK’s Brands Hatch motor circuit has upped the stakes for all participating riders by offering the chance to win a VIP trip for two to the 2019 Paris-Roubaix event, hosted by two-time event winner and Revolve24 Australia Race Director Stuart O’Grady.
Over the weekend of 15-16 September 2018, every time a rider in the 24hr challenge completes 24 miles of the Brands Hatch circuit (10 Laps) they will be automatically entered in the 24 Miles Prize Draw. The more laps they do, the more entries they generate, giving every rider a chance to win the prestigious prize.
Huw Bunn, Revolve24 founder said “We want to be able to reward everyone who has taken the time out to train for Revolve24 and do their best during the 24hr challenge. Revolve24 is all about celebrating teams of riders of all levels who ride the tarmac for charity, camaraderie and fun – as well as those at the top of their game – our 24 Miles Prize Draw allows us to do just that.”
The four day VIP trip includes three nights’ accommodation in a 4* hotel frequented by many of the pro teams, an afternoon ride with the Mummu Cycling team, entry into the Paris-Roubaix Sportive Ride with a choice of 70km, 145km and 172 km distances, travel and VIP Hospitality inside the famous Roubaix Velodrome to watch the Pro race finish – all in the company of Stuart O‘Grady.
Further prizes will be on offer in the draw from Revolve24 event partners Exposure Lights, Jam Cycling, Kalas, Weldtite amongst others.
The ever-growing 24-hour cycling event, which last year attracted over 600 soloists, duos and team riders, is now in its fourth year. The 2018 Revolve24 weekend line-up also includes the UK’s first ever dedicated eMTB event, the inaugural 12+12 event, the British Cycling Youth Circuit Finals, plus the 6-hour and 12-hour track challenges.
New for 2018, Friday’s Revolve12+12 race sponsored by clothing supplier KALAS ‘creates a strategic challenge that’s never been seen before’. Here, teams of four male/female riders compete in a part-4UP TTT, part-road race, with all teams starting together on the track to complete 12 laps of the GP circuit and 12 laps of the Indy circuit – a total of 70km.The teams complete the laps in whichever order they wish, the fourth rider crossing the finish line counting as the finishing time for the team.
