Launched to competitive swimmers in 2015, the XPRESSO competition swim suit by technical brand MP (a collaboration between Michael Phelps and Aqua Sphere) has a new product offering. Responding to the popularity of the bright citrus and black colour option introduced last year, a new bright pink and black version is coming soon (available in around two weeks).
FINA approved, the XPRESSO swim suit combines Aqua Sphere’s proprietary Exo-Foil and Aqua-Core fabrics to deliver an innovative dual fabric technology, Exo-Core, in a racing suit that not only provides compression and hydrodynamics, but also offers increased flexibility and range of motion – allowing athletes to maintain relaxed muscles before and during competition to maximize peak performance.
The Exo-Core construction features strategically placed panels designed to reduce energy dissipation through compressive support, while allowing for increased circulation throughout the leg and femoral artery. The panels work in conjunction with the XPRESSO’s proprietary fabric to offer athletes a range of motion. Bonded seams reduce drag and provide structure and support; and internal silicone leg grips ensure a more precise fit.
Made in Italy, the XPRESSO is available in men’s jammers and a women’s full suit in an expanding range of colour options.
