A release from Super League Triathlon (SLT) notes that the organisation is ‘building a world-class team to take their next step in revolutionizing the sport’. As part of its expansion, SLT has announced the appointment of Chief Commercial Officer, Claude Ringuet a seasoned senior executive who will be responsible for driving all commercial aspects of SLT’s business across the globe.
Claude Ringuet joins the team from Nielsen Sports (formerly Repucom) where he was the Managing Director for South-East Asia and Greater China. Prior to this, he has held senior executive roles in SAP, IBM Global Consulting Services (formerly PwC), McKinsey & Co and CEVA Logistics. He holds an MBA from the Stanford GSB.
“We welcome Claude to our team and are very excited to have such an experienced leader join us at this stage of our development”, said CEO Michael D’hulst. “Claude will drive all commercial activity for us including host venues, broadcast and sponsorship relationships as well as other key revenue streams. His understanding and experience with a wide range of sporting properties will also help us elevate triathlon to be a global sports entertainment entity.”
Claude Ringuet is based in Singapore where he is married and has one young and very energetic son and a pre-teen daughter. Having played semi-professional sport, he is also actively involved in Asia’s sports community.

SLT is positioned as ‘the pinnacle of the sport’ of triathlon, delivering a series of fast-paced events over an eight-month season culminating in the crowning of the best male and female triathletes in the world.
‘A premium, up-close-and-personal fan experience is guaranteed, showcasing the most challenging circuits in unique and spectator-friendly destinations’. The event team note that, with the highest prize purse in the sport, ‘SLT pushes the boundaries of traditional triathlon with multi-day action-packed formats and unpredictable races leveraging the latest technology’.
SLT launched in 2016 and is the brainchild of former Australian triathlete and four-time world champion Chris McCormack; Michael Dhulst, an entrepreneur, successful amateur athlete and experienced event owner; and Leonid Boguslavsky, an entrepreneur and keen sportsman. The company is headquartered in Singapore.
The launch of SLT’s inaugural event was broadcasted across global TV networks, reaching an audience of over four hundred million fans, and ‘pushing the sport out of the shadows of niche play into the realm of global sports entertainment property’.
Described by top-tier athletes as a game changing event series, SLT is billed as the Champions League for the sport of triathlon, with the series outcome ‘finally showing who truly is, the fastest, most dynamic, endurance-based triathlete in the world’.
