Zone3 has announced the extension of its swimwear partnership with 6-time World Champion, Mark Foster, following the launch of the former pro athlete’s first swimwear range with the brand in early 2017.
Since retiring from swimming after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Mark Foster has continued to play a very active role in the sport – establishing the Mark Foster Swimming Academy for aspiring, young swimmers. Most recently, he has been working closely with Zone3 to extend the MX-F range of specialist swimwear for both men and women.
A release from Zone3 notes that ‘The new MF-X range is a culmination of the multi-year partnership with Mark, channelling his passion, expertise and experience into designs, developing a range swimwear for swimmers of all levels that is tried and trusted by Mark and the wider swimming community.’
The expanded MF-X range for 2018 is made from a combination of specialist fabrics chosen by Mark Foster and the product design team at Zone3. The products have been selected for their durability, chlorine resistant properties, breathability, UV protection and hydrophobic properties – designed to increase performance while providing maximum comfort. The main body of the MF-X range is constructed with XFINITY fabric which is made in Italy, a ‘country well-known for quality craftsmanship and superior fabric mills’.

Ana Kaefer, Head of Product Development at Zone3, said “It was great to work alongside one of the greatest swimmers of all-time to develop a range of performance swimwear using Mark’s extensive knowledge and my understanding of ergonomic design to create a range led by performance and value.”
She continued “The Zone3 approach to product development has always been with an athlete-centric philosophy in mind; and who better is there to listen to and work with than Mark – an athlete who has probably racked up more years at the top than any other international swimmer.”
The brand new MF-X range will be announced on the Zone3 website this summer.
