Hutchinson’s new Overide 650b x 47mm Tan Wall gravel tyre is the latest adaptation of its Overide 700 range. As a pioneer of tubeless ready technology, the new model offers the puncture protection of a seamless tubeless setup with the convenience of inner tube compatibility.
Featuring a similar semi-slick, fast rolling central profile as its predecessor, the 650b nods towards all-round versatility and performance on classics-style damaged roads, gravel paths and dirt tracks, ‘without compromising on durability, grip or braking performance’.
Weighing in from 490g, and with an RRP of £32.95, the outer tread boasts an aggressive tread pattern. The generous 47mm width allows difficult, loose terrain to be ‘attacked with confidence and surefootedness’.
Bead to bead protection and ‘Sideskin’ textile grid reinforcement help to provide resistance to punctures and tears. Completing the Overide 650b package, the new tan wall design aims to create a ‘classic look and feel, with modern technology at the heart to support and encourage true exploration.’
