Echelon Fitness launches in UK ready for New Year’s resolutions

Echelon Fitness, a brand dedicated to expanding the connected fitness category ‘through smart innovation at affordable prices’, has appointed Sponge Marketing as its PR and marketing agency for its UK launch.

Sponge is a London based sports marketing agency specialising in sports, fitness and active lifestyles.

Echelon Fitness has also recently confirmed a partnership with Eric Villency. Villency Design Group has produced and developed designs for SoulCycle, Peloton, New York Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz, The Ritz-Carlton, eBay, Rumble and Rockstar Energy Drink, to name a few.

A release noted that ‘The partnership will prove that good design isn’t determined by price and it doesn’t have to be expensive. It is an exciting opportunity to soon deliver the best possible user interface experience.’

With ‘doing more exercise’ regularly in the Top 3 of New Year’s resolutions in the UK, Echelon Fitness feels that it couldn’t have picked a better time to bring its live studio fitness experience to UK homes. The brand adds that it commits to ‘taking the at-home fitness experience to new distances by offering high-tech cycling equipment, personalised workouts and an online community, all at a reasonable cost.’

Echelon Fitness UK currently offers one of its entry-level smart bikes, the brand new Echelon Smart Connect Bike EX3 Max, which can be ordered online on the brand’s website from £1,238.99 (with monthly subscription). The offer includes a Smart Bike delivered to a user’s door, live classes led by certified instructors and the Echelon Fit App (available on both Google Play and Apple Store).

The EX-5S model bike is scheduled for launch in Q1 2020. This new smart bike includes a 21.5” HD touchscreen that is integrated into the bike’s design. According to Echelon, it’s the first in the industry to feature a screen that flips 180 degrees to enhance the fitness experience, allowing the rider to exercise off the bike with Echelon’s roster of experienced personal fitness instructors.

Echelon also launched Reflect 50” Touchscreen, billed as the industry’s first touchscreen fitness mirror that allows users to bring personal training into their own homes for cardio, yoga, strength training, Pilates and boxing workouts, while competing on the Echelon leaderboard.

With the Echelon Fitness membership program, members have access to all content, with ‘one affordable membership, for all Echelon products.’

Angelo Ramsbott, Managing Director for Global Development at Echelon Fitness said “I am delighted to be part of the team launching an affordable option for consumers in the UK. We aim to give the ‘Live Studio Fitness from the Comfort of Home’ globally without breaking the bank. Soon riders from all over the world will meet on our platform; and the UK and its rich cycling culture had to be next. We will make sure no one ever rides alone.”
