Travel Talk at Eurobike in Friedrichshafen is taking place this year for the 18th time. On 6 September 2019, the international bicycle and tourism congress will address new developments. The organising teams at Messe Friedrichshafen and the Berlin-based agency Velokonzept are also calling for active participation in the congress for the first time.
The call for participation invites companies and organisations involved in the travel and bicycle industry to come forward by 22 March 2019 and contribute suggestions for the congress themes: trends and innovations, facts & figures, digitalisation, bicycle retail and cycle tourism, travel organizers, sustainable mobility and cooperation between the bicycle industry and tourism sector.
Proposals can be submitted via the Velokonzept Event Portal. “The ‘Call for Participation’ is intended to encourage a more diverse range of exciting contributions and innovative ideas about the future of cycle tourism and further strengthen cooperation and networking between the different parties involved,” explained Velokonzept Managing Director Ulrike Saade.
In addition to the growing number of themes, the range of formats at the conference is also increasing. Alongside traditional presentations and panel talks, there will be new workshop formats, networking opportunities and pitch formats. Participation is also welcome here too – ‘the organisers are very happy to receive further suggestions of other formats’.
Eurobike Travel Talk brings the bike industry and tourism sector together at an international level. It enables the latest trends and innovations from bicycle tourism to be presented and discussed as part of the leading Eurobike international bicycle trade exhibition, in Friedrichshafen, Germany. As such, it aims to promote synergies between the bike industry and tourism.
Eurobike Travel Talk is aimed at cities and regions, tourism companies and the hotel sector, bicycle manufacturers and bicycle retailers, associations and institutions, transport and business consultants and marketing and event agencies.
All presentations are simultaneously interpreted – German/English. Entry to the congress – and the individual presentations – is free of charge with a valid Eurobike admission ticket.
Eurobike 2019, the leading international trade show, opens to trade visitors for three business days (4-6 September) and for all bike fans on the Eurobike Festival Day on Saturday, 7 September 2019.
