Otso Cycles has versatility in mind with its new Waheela C – which can transition from a singletrack, to gravel bike through to road bike.
This versatility is made possible by the brand’s Tuning Chip dropout system. This allows the chainstay length to be adjusted by up to 20mm, with 4mm of bottom bracket height adjustment, to ‘accommodate each riding style without compromising handling’.
Otso adds that the new Waheela C can be ‘set-up with 29” x 2.1” to ride dirt singletrack, 650b x 53 to grind even the sketchiest of gravel sections, 700c x 28 slicks for a weekly group road ride, or anything in between.’
The C in Waheela C stands for carbon. Staying true to Otso’s adventure cycling roots, the company has also equipped the Waheela C with added features for all sorts of extended backcountry riding. There are three bottle mounts (with extra mounting points on the down tube), fender mounts, rack mounts, and mounting points on the top tube for adding a fuel tank bag.
Otso lets riders pick and choose components to build their own bike… ‘The perfect bike can be different depending on your riding style and terrain; so Otso allows you to modify and build your dream machine. Frames are available in Gloss White, Matte Black and Gloss Red. A base build bike has an MSRP of US$3,499. The frameset MSRP is US$2,049.
