With less than a month until the Phynova Six Day London 2019, the full elite men’s cycling line up has been unveiled. The field is filled with world class racing talent, with two Olympic Gold medallists set to race in London and riders who have between them won 29 World Championship medals. 13 nations feature in the elite men’s category set to vie for glory at the Lee Valley VeloPark between 22-27 October.
The Six Day Series returns to London for a fifth consecutive year. In 2018-19 the global series hosted some of the world’s finest cycling elite at events in London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Manchester and Brisbane, engaging more than 100,000 fans.
In 2019-20 the Six Day Series will visit six race locations and the finale will be hosted in Brisbane for a second year in a row between 3-5 April 2020.
British representation at the Lee Valley VeloPark this October is strong, with three-time World Champion Mark Cavendish and reigning Olympic Gold Medallist Owain Doull leading the pack. Six-time European Champion Andy Tennant, who has also won gold at World Championship level, will appear alongside Matt Bostock, with Jon Dibben and Chris Latham also representing the home nation.
As in previous years, Phynova Six Day London will also host some of the finest cyclists from all over the globe. On-form sprinter Caleb Ewan will race alongside compatriot 2015 Track World Cup Champion Joshua Harrison, with Stephen Hall and Zack Gilmore also representing Australia.
Olympic gold medallist Elia Viviani will be partnered with fellow Italian Simone Consonni, while Phynova Six Day London 2018 winners Yoeri Havik and Wim Stroetinga are together once more for the Netherlands.

Competition among the men’s field is expected to be fierce at Phynova Six Day London, particularly in the Madison. With this in mind, Six Day is positioned as one of the best places for riders hopeful of securing places in their countries’ respective Olympic teams for Tokyo 2020 to practice the Madison race format.
