Taking place on March 10, the organising team at ENEA IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is inviting athletes to a swimming workshop with elite swimmer Paweł Korzeniowski. Classes include theoretical and practical elements.
Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia will be held on August 9-11, 2019 in Gdynia. Almost 4000 athletes from several dozen countries are scheduled to take part in the competition.
“We invite both those preparing for their debut in triathlon and swimmers who want to improve their technique,” said Paweł Korzeniowski, who after the end of his swimming career became a triathlete.
“Having a high elbow, strong core and correct body position in the water – these are just some elements that we will work on,” he added.
Swim classes will take place on Sunday, 10 March at the Gdynia Witomino Swimming Pool. Lessons will be divided into three blocks. The first will be the theoretical part. Here, Korzeniowski will discuss swimming techniques during filming, emphasizing the correct operation of individual body parts in the water.
The second block is a ‘dry’ practical class – a warm-up with elements of stretching and other exercises before entering the water. The last part is practical, during which participants will practice the elements discussed during the previous sessions.
