Leading indoor training app Zwift is offering a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity that you won’t want to miss.’
The company notes that the Christmas holidays are a time for traditions, and each year, Zwift CEO Eric Min enjoys hosting events for the Zwift community. This Christmas Eve, he will be joined on the Zwift Holiday Run by four-time Olympian Mo Farah.
A double gold Medallist in 2012 and 2016, Mo Farah is the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic history and he is targeting further success at Tokyo 2020.
The Holiday Run with Mo Farah and Eric Min gives Zwift athletes a shot at running alongside the famed distance runner. Taking place in Zwift’s Watopia world on December 24, the 5K run is open to all Zwift users. The run kicks-off on December 24 at 14:30 GMT / 06:30 PST.
The Zwift app is free to download on iOS and Google Play, so all runners will be able to run for free without subscribing to the app. That said, in order to use the Zwift app on a treadmill, runners will need a Bluetooth enabled footpod, such as the Zwift RunPod, or a Bluetooth enabled treadmill.
