4th Discipline, a personalised nutrition coaching service spearheaded by nutritionist and triathlete Claire Fudge, has launched its Triathlon Nutrition Hub membership site.
4th Discipline noters that it caters to triathletes, cyclists, runners and swimmers who are looking for a more in-depth understanding of their nutrition. With the launch of the Triathlon Nutrition Hub, members will be able to ‘use a one-stop education resource, where they can find the tools and information they need to realise their nutrition goals.’
4th Discipline adds that it will work with members to build their nutrition knowledge with sustainable, relatable and triathlon-specific advice. Some of the key features of the membership include:
- A science and evidence-based education;
- Trialled and tested knowledge: 4th Discipline takes the theory and applies real-world athlete know-how;
- Nutrition information at their fingertips: what they need, when they need it, how they like it. Perfect for busy athletes with hectic lifestyles;
- Development of skills and insights needed to fuel their success, in sport and day-to-day life;
- Expert webinars, consultations, cooking demos with a high-performance chef, and other privileges.
The Triathlon Nutrition Hub will also have a weekly office hours function, a time each week to discuss and share best practices in nutrition, with relation to training, recovery, and competition with fellow athletes and with expert dietitians.
For a monthly fee of £50, 4th Discipline claims that ‘the hub provides valuable information previously available only through high-priced seminars and coaching sessions, a great value for athletes with limited budgets.’
Members will get exclusive discounts from 4thDiscipline partners including Maurten, HealthSpan, TRR Nutrition, High5, Symprove, Forth Edge and more.
4th Discipline is the brainchild of high performance nutritionist, clinical dietitian and triathlete Claire Fudge, who also serves as its Director. She said “As a competitive triathlete, I am passionate about how food and nutrition influences performance, metabolism, and body composition. I understand the needs of athletes and the realities of training too.
“Helping people to optimise nutrition for performance, health and symptom management are embedded in my day-to-day practice.”
Fudge graduated from Kings College London in 2003 with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics and set out to advance her clinical dietetics practice by working in a range of medical specialities and disease states.
She specialises in endurance sports, and has worked with dancers, triathletes, endurance triathletes, ultra-runners, cyclists and weightlifters, as well as athletes with eating disorders.
4th Discipline also offers one to one nutrition coaching and a range of testing and analysis services for athletes including body composition and Precision Hydration Sweat Testing.
