CeramicSpeed’s 2020 Green Limited Edition offering in ‘Colour of Hope’

CeramicSpeed has announced the launch of the Green Limited Edition of its OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel) for 2020, and a campaign to support women’s cycling in these unprecedented times.

The cycling accessories specialist notes that cyclists and athletes alike are battling a difficult situation around the world. With their training limited and events cancelled, the future is uncertain. CeramicSpeed adds that it wants to ‘spread some optimism and a ray of hope in the face of the current times by launching an annual limited edition OSPW Systems and Pulley Wheels in Green – the Colour of Hope.’

In an aluminium design with a reinforced carbon cage (for the OSPW Systems), the pulley designs aim to ‘ensure the lightweight strength CeramicSpeed is known for.’

Each pulley wheel contains CeramicSpeed’s low-friction coated bearings, ‘each one precision-engineered for optimal drivetrain efficiency.’ The green-coated and limited edition OSPW Systems come available in a variety of configurations compatible with SRAM, Shimano, and Campagnolo.

Suitable for both on and off-road riding, the new products are available both on CeramicSpeed’s official webshop as well as at selected CeramicSpeed retailers worldwide.

CeramicSpeed also points out a recent sad development, that the women’s cycling team Bigla -KATUSHA is facing financial challenges. To show continued support for women’s cycling, CeramicSpeed has decided to set aside €15 from every purchase of products from the Green Limited Edition Campaign, during May and June, on the official webshop (ceramicspeed.com) to help out the affected riders.

Executive Vice-President at CeramicSpeed, Martin Banke said “Team Bigla-KATUSHA helped launch some of the most incredible talents in women’s cycling and catapulted some of the most exciting female riders of the generation into the big time.

“We have always had a great collaboration with the team, and it is during these challenging times that we wish to extend a ray of hope to everyone in the sport. Now is when the community must stand together and weather the current storm.”
