For autumn/fall/winter 2020, Scottish cycling apparel specialist Endura has overhauled core items of its Windchill range to keep riders warm, comfortable and visible on wintry roads.
Windchill Jacket II
Endura claims that the Windchill Jacket II provides 360 degree wind protection. It is made from stretch, windproof thermal grid-backed fabric throughout. The jacket is cut in a road, gravel or trail friendly fit and offers plenty of pockets to carry ride essentials.
Large, zipped underarm vents aid temperature regulation. The Silicone grip hem prevents the garment from riding up. Reflective trims increase visibility. The second iteration of the jacket also has new, contemporary aesthetics, with high-viz yellow and grey, rust red, and black and grey colourways.
Available in sizes S-XXXL, there’s also a gilet version for core body wind protection, the Windchill Gilet II – available in black in sizes S-XXXL.
Windchill Bibtights II
The Windchill Bibtights employ a combination of windproof panels on the front, and brushed back thermal fabrics on the back to optimise wind cheating and moisture beating properties. The high stretch Thermoroubaix fabric provides comfortable insulation and features the PFC Free DWR MTM treatment for excellent ‘eco friendly water repellency’.
The bibtights feature Endura’s exclusive 600 Series Pad that is engineered using a computer cut ‘Continuously Variable Profile’ (CVP) process. This delivers a high stretch pad with integrated gel inserts for added comfort and an antibacterial finish. Reflective prints or panels catch vehicle headlights, boosting visibility in low light conditions.
