Europe Triathlon (the European governing body for triathlon, formerly the European Triathlon Union) has partnered with XTERRA for the 2021 Europe Triathlon Cross Duathlon and Triathlon Championships. These take place on September 24-26, 2021, in Dolomiti Paganella, Italy.
Renato Bertrandi, President of Europe Triathlon said “I am very delighted that the 2021 European Champs of Cross Triathlon and Duathlon have been assigned to XTERRA. Europe Triathlon has already, since years, had a good collaboration with other professional organisers and we are happy to start this new experience with the objective to establish a medium term collaboration.
“We will be working together to harmonise the competition rules and we will be able to offer our athletes a unique experience in 2021.”
The Marketing Director of XTERRA Europe, Konstantinos Koumargialis said “XTERRA Europe is delighted to join Europe Triathlon in hosting the 2021 Cross Triathlon and Cross Duathlon championships.
“With the support of Trentino and the Dolomiti Paganella regions, the cooperation with the Italian Triathlon Federation and our expertise we are very excited to bring multi sport to this beautiful location. We set out to bring XTERRA in closer relationships with the European federations to allow us to work together in growing the sport. I would like to thank our XTERRA European team and our Italian partners for realising this project.”
