European expansion for Ben Clark at COROS Wearables

Having appointed Ben Clark to the role of Northern Europe Market Manager – COROS Wearables is continuing to strengthen its product offering and reach in Europe. The company specialises in GPS performance sports watches for endurance and ultra athletes – as well as smart helmet technology.

Ben Clark had previously been the UK Market Manager for COROS, prior to his appointment as Northern Europe Market Manager. He said “I am delighted that COROS has placed further trust in my ability to represent and market them in the Northern European market.

“We have achieved so much so far in the UK through press and marketing, and I am looking forward to replicating this success in Benelux and the Nordic countries.”

Ben will mainly be working with key stakeholders in the media, brands, sponsors and with other partners across the Scandinavia and Benelux territories. This will aim to gain awareness and exposure for the brand, as well as build an ambassador network in these countries across COROS’ running categories; track, trail, road, and ultra.

In addition, Ben will continue in his role as UK Market Manager to cement the work already achieved and to also gain future events, sponsorships, and partnerships with other brands.

COROS has been active in Europe for a few years now, but it is only recently that the brand has invested in direct employees to oversee the development and success of localised markets. The company now has operations in almost every country in Europe, and has a direct employee or main distributor in the UK, Spain, France, Benelux & Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

The company adds that ‘There are big plans for COROS in Europe, as well as lots of new and exciting products too.’

In addition to the cycling wearables, COROS’ main product range consists of ‘high-performance and ultra-long-lasting endurance watches for runners, hikers, and mountaineers.’ Its signature watch, the COROS VERTIX is designed for ultra-runners, with an impressive 150 hours of battery life, allowing the user to take on just about any multiple day event, and in any corner of the world with thanks to multiple satellite compatibility.

COROS Wearables’ smart helmet tech products include the Linx, Omni and SafeSound cycle helmets, which are worn by roadies, commuters and mountain bikers alike.

Ben is a keen cyclist with a penchant for cycle touring; having cycled across most of Western Europe previously. In July 2020 he will be bikepacking to Amsterdam and back, to raise money for Unicef’s Global Relief fund.
